Do I need a police report (FIR) for a replacement CNIC?
While not mandatory, filing an FIR for your lost CNIC is a good idea. It protects you in case someone misuses your old ID.
Do I need someone to come with me to NADRA?
Yes, you’ll need a blood relative to accompany you to the NADRA office for verification purposes.
Remember: Keep your new CNIC safe! Consider getting a secure holder to protect it from damage or loss.
